I love listening to this and imagining I'm sitting on a high tree branch, listening to the wind sighing through the grass below me. I start to hear birds feebly calling and then quietening down as they sleep. I sit there, seeing the lights of the village in the distance lighting up the dark night and Scottish ceilidhs lightening up the mood of the place. I hear the burn below trickle softly as if it was singing to me. I jump down, my bodywarmer billowing below me and my shoes digging into the soft grass. I leap down into the burn with my wellies and get myself soaked right up to my knees, and then scramble up the other side, laughing. Then I climb over the fence and run wildly, my arms splayed behind me and my feet whizzing on the heather. I live in Scotland on an Island called Skye, and this reminds me very much of it. Where is this? It says in the description Graeme James is a New Zealander, and so this must be in New Zealand, which is a stunning place! Thanks for creating this song Graeme, you're so underrated.
