It is indeed, absolutely not helping matters where Scots who feel this disassociation with the UK monarchy hear English constantly referring to, "The Queen of England" What on earth do you think you will fuel other than an extreme disassociation with the monarchy if you're calling her 'your English Queen'. If the Welsh referred to 'The Queen of Wales', or the Scots referred to 'The Queen of Scotland', perhaps you could understand the disengagement of so many Scots with the UK monarchy.
