I wonder if our engineer had been listening to what Chip Douglas did to the ending of the Monkee's "Pleasant Valley Sunday". The drenched in reverb thing. I still remember the look on his face as he was drowning the track in reverb. He thought it was hilarious. I guess we did, too.

One of my choices as an early example of what would become to be known as Space Rock, this has those druggie acidrock sounds and ethereal sounding oscillator that give this garage/psych tune a spacey edge.

Just a little historical correction: Graf Zeppelin was the inventor of the rigid airships. One of these airships was the LZ127 Graf Zeppelin (built 1928, scrapped 1940). The World War II German Aircraft Carrier Graf Zeppelin was planned, building was started but never finished. The Germans had no Aircraft Carrier at all. So I guess the band was named after the airship, which is much more famous and, what is more important, existed. Greetings from Germany
