I love the doors, the windows that do the same and the rolladen!

I will watch any and all videos, even if I don’t look for housing anymore … they helped us so much 3/4 month ago to figure out what we want and what not! And now we couldn’t be more happy with where we live and with our house! Detrimental for your success if you ask me, this channel is a one stop shop for reliable info of the area and housing options 👊🏻 🤙🏼

You just made my day! Thank you so so much! I work hard to provide value (and entertainment 😉) to incoming families, so it’s nice to get some positive feedback every once in a while.

I am German and I live in Grafenwöhr so I grew up around the military houses and we Germans are always wondering what the houses acutally look like inside haha so it was super interesting to see! Also I love how the (to us) normal things like the blinds are so special for Americans haha great video!

Yep… I like this layout. Lots of space! Out of the other areas, Vilseck, Weiden, Graf… which area has the best options for larger homes?
@DTVDanielTelevision2 жыл бұрын
Vilseck & Graf will have larger homes because there’s space in a small town. As you move closer into the city center of Weiden, they get smaller 👍🏾

Awesome content. Very helpful. Do you have any videos focusing on a monthly cost comparison of what it would be like to lease government housing (incorporating Base Pay/BAH/COLA against monthly bills) versus not using government housing? If that's even a choice? I know it will vary based on rank/dependents etc. Just looking to build a general idea. Thanks.

Hey! Thanks for the support! Good question. This would apply to civilians but I’ve never heard of anyone not using government housing. The short answer is no, I don’t have a video explaining this, but I’m definitely gonna look into this now and create some content around it. Thanks for the input 👍🏾

What do you mean by rented washer/dryer/refrigerator?? Is this an out of pocket expense? And is this the norm for all military housing throughout germany?
@DTVDanielTelevision3 жыл бұрын
Housing provides just about everyone with large appliances such as your washer/dryer and refrigerator. This is very normal all across Germany and anywhere overseas for military. I had the same procedures as a young officer stationed in Japan back in the early 2000’s. I can’t seem to remember the small rental fee but yes, it’s an out of pocket expense. If I can locate the rental fee, I’ll update this comment. You can learn more about housing procedures in my blog here: www.dtvdanieltelevision.com/2021/03/03/grafenwoehr-germany-military-housing/
