I understand this to be inspired by his cousin who died of an overdose, and I think the last part is from the cousin's point of view. Re fentanyl, I've heard the reason it's pervasive now and laced into all the more expensive drugs is because it's so easy and cheap to make.

Knox and Ren’s new track is powerful, a hard listen, but a such a message! The visuals are fantastic. This track is such a real way to tell his cousin’s story. May he RIP. 🙏📿 I feel for Knox. I loved the play on raising higher, pyer, fire! Nice nod of respect to Hi Ren and Chalk Outlines with “The only rope the one that chokes when they remember me”line. The “Were all just vain, came to veins, all in vain” was just the right ending. The way big Pharma operates is totally criminal it plays on the weak and the vulnerable for profit, it also plies people who could live without meds with far too many; whilst withholding them from those who actually need them until they agree to pay over the odds. They are greedy profiteers, supposedly saving lives, but honestly these drug companies are sick and disgusting much of the time.

Ren and Knox made an important video. Anyone that takes drugs lost everything in their lives as well as their family. My nephew will do anything he can to satisfy his addiction if he has to. His # 1 is robbing his mother whatever isn't nailed down is sold. Even a friend can break your heart with their addiction. God Bless all
