No product pushing, no annoying music, no latest greatest gizmos sitting on carefully manicured lawns by an overstocked pond. A breath of fresh air, this channel. Real fishing!

This is the perfect carp angling footage, thanks Jim. No product plugs? No drum and bass music? Not even a bit of sketchy cinematics? Your films seem to simply capture the enjoyment and happenings of each session in a way that cant help but inspire people to get the rods out! ... reminds me of the first couple of series from "The Carpcatcher" (Woolpack Diaries?) way back in the early days of you tube fishing content.

Another brilliant video Jim, those overhead wires were worrying me. Those 9 ft rods were just the job again. cant wait for the next adventure.

@@JohnBull-do1rs Cheers John 😀👍🏻 yep, must admit at the time the overhead cables didn’t look to close but on the vid they do look closer ⚡️⚡️ Love the 9ft rods 🎣

Really enjoying these canal videos Jim. Used to fish one of your old pegs on the Bridgewater at Agden were the pipe went over the canal. Had some nice fish untill the fish kill ruined it all.Your living the dream over there mate.👍🏻

Well done Jim. I can tell the calibre of angler you are just by the fact that you tidied up the swim and got rid of someone else’s rubbish. I know some people have very tough lives but there is no need to leave rubbish, it’s too easy to get rid of. Also it gets all anglers an undeserved bad name. Keep up the good work.

Hey Jim, how often are baiting up during a session?
@jim_lightfoot Жыл бұрын
Hi James, I never have a set plan..most situations are different. Mainly I bait heavy at the start & after every carp caught. Also depends on the crayfish & small fish activity 👍🏻🎣
