Great video! Thanks for posting this. I just came by accident over a beautiful sample of the 1268 film holder for my new Graphic 4x5 and love this thing already!

I wanted to know how to load the films. But I thought it was not in this video after watching for 10 min. But at the exact moment I was pressing stop button, it started. Great! I would have pressed "Like" button 100 times.

Great video. Please post a video about the Graphic SLR style camera that you show near the end of this video. Thanks.

Quite helpful but missing the most important part - how to load those film holders with negatives? Yes, at 9:50 you show how to open the cassette, but a demonstration with actual negatives to load would be extremely helpful!

@c4dfreak ....Yes. The film for the grafmatics are still available. They take regular 4x5 cut sheet film. If you mean the Fiji instant film packs, no, they will not work in the grafmatic. Only sheet film. Fuji does still make sheet film that will work.

nice video, heard they made a 6x9 version for the linhof teknica style cameras wish you had included them as well , are they still available (2016) ?

6x9 cm versions were made; I've used a couple of them with a medium format view camera. They work exactly like the 4x5 versions, which are much more common. Given the confused presentation here, you'll conclude that there is a learning curve to using these things, but once the use is familiar, they are much nicer than the conventional two sheet holders. I doubt that these holders in any size have been made since Graflex folded the mid-1950s, but they are on ebay periodically. When buying used, check the septums carefully(1) for being bent or warped, and (2) for crushed film retaining channel. They are pretty rugged, but they also got a lot of abuse.

I've got one of these and it works great. Only problem with that system is that chen you go out with your 6 sheets in it but only make 4 pictures you're a bit screwed. But great device.

Yes, as we don't shoot these in quantity anymore the regular two shot holders are fine--and less bulky.

Hi Eddie. Great video. If you want I can remove the counter that affects the film leaving you a full frame. Let me know. Best.
