As an American, it’s good to see people of Iraq riding and enjoying themselves. Sorry about the war, but the place looks awesome. Good on you all!!!

I rode with Garham in Australia last year, and man the setup the organisers had was embarrassing! A dirty old BBQ in the bush. Nice to see him getting treated like royalty.

The Iraqi semi-autonomous province of Kurdistan and it's capital city Erbil was spared most of the war but suffered more at the hands Saddam Hussein's brutal gas attacks and not too long ago, by ISIS. The Kurds are a very proud people and Erbil is a lovely city with great malls, coffee shops, restaurants and beautiful parks. There's quite a mix of Muslims & Christians. Well worth a visit. As safe as it gets. 😊
