Nice frame that erases a whole lot of cisfeminine rapists. It's more that it's because he's an axe-grinding closet case who doesn't realize that The Speech is still one of the most transfeminist pieces of television in human history. It's a brilliant metawork on internalized transmisogyny right down to the author's own thought process while writing it.

Dankula, the unhandsome Scottish ex bouncer found guilty of gross offence for teaching his girlfriend's ( now wife) pug to perform a nazi salute as a private joke to wind her up as he thought it was the 'most disgusting thing he could make the cute dog do' which was explained at the start of the video, which he posted to his KZbin channel that had only 17 subscribers at the time. No one complained, Scottish police approached Jewish organisations to ask if they were offended, when some said yes they pressed charges and eventually Dankula was found guilty and fined. At the time a few comedians protested that a joke should be punishable by law ( notable David Banddiel, Ricky Gervase & Shaparak Khorsandi ) however a shamefully most other comedians remained silent, and worse 'woke' Graham in what was probably a knee jerk reaction basically labelled Dankula a fascist who deserved it. Subsequently Graham learnt a bit more about the context and got on a stream to apologize to Dankula face to face. Full kudos to Graham for addressing his mistake publicly.

I remember this guy as the co-creator and star in Father Ted. R.I.P. Dermot Morgan! One of my favourite sketches was from the episode, "Flight Into Terror". While the Priests were all doomed, the Priest sat next to Graham Linehan's character, tells him that he loves him, and he's always loved him. After the plane is finally saved, the camera goes back to the 2 priests, and the awkwardness on their faces is cringe-worthily hilarious! ☘🇮🇪 🤣

Comedy unleashed is like comedy easy mode. It’s not even about pandering to a crowd. You give yourself an audience that believes that by laughing at your jokes they’re being rebellious. You could say anything and smile afterwards and they’d be fully on board. There’s a reason so few of these comics are successful or liked outside of this circle. Hell their most recent short is Norcott, the only successful one, basically saying the same thing.

I laughed. It was entertaining. I think his comedy series are some of the best comedy writing in history - akin to Blackadder. People who don't like his stance are frankly the least humourous people that exist. It's quite obvious reading some of the bitterness here.

Graham Linehan is one of the bravest, most decent, most courageous and most honourable men we have. To still be standing up for the rights of women and children after all that the nasties have thrown at him, is an example to everyone of how principles cannot be sacrificed, not if you want to be able to look at yourself in the mirror and not feel shame. He and those who think and speak like him will before too much longer be proven to be on the right side of history and the right side of humanity. Those on the wrong side are inhuman, gutless anti-scientific cowards.

Truly, it’s a wonder he isn’t a saint… never mind the work of the emergency services - this man is a true hero. One day statues will be erected to his valiant efforts … on Twitter.

I hope the book does well. I don't foresee a stellar stand up career. Glinner is one of the great comedy writers of all time. What the business did to him is unforgivable.

I'll be buying it. Probably our finest comedy writer - badly miss his work on TV. Haven't seen something that made me laugh on mainstream telly for years.

Just as Solzhenitsyn was partly responsible for the end of communism in Russia this man also helped with the demise of Catholicism in Ireland. Kudos for that I think you will agree.
