Jamie is a typical Australian,not everyone has to attend a college in order to gain a good grounding in the correct pronunciation of the English language.I can speak Stryne with a bloke straight out of the Mulga as well as anyone when the occasion requires.
@bobbythorman74216 жыл бұрын
HerrNilsson You're quite correct regarding the "cringe" being part of our history, it has however died out in most families.The 26 plus hours in an aircraft in order to go to England is no longer the rite of passage it once was. London is just the jump off point for the continent and not the employment agency for learning the correct pronunciation of our inherited language. In saying that I must admit it was a "Hell of a lot of fun",much the same as the European backpackers still have in coming here.
