The fairytale rise of Östersunds FK from lower-league minnows to top-flight club and Swedish Cup winners witnessed a new chapter in 2017-18. English manager Graham Potter took his team into European football for the first time in their history, and an opening match on a journey that took them to an eventual knockout defeat by Arsenal at home to Turkish giants Galatasaray. Gala fan here, that game was a nightmare for us. Their defence was very compact, and they played smart. About 10 years ago another scandinavian team, tromso beat us but weather and the condition of the pitch was horrible. Ostersunds beat us fair and square and what they achieved after beating us is quite amazing for an unexperienced team. Also I really think their manager is capable of being in charge of a premier league team like stoke, wba or brighton considering he is a young man. Anyway congrats to ostersunds, they had a nice run.

Aslan Kral Eksiğimiz çok olmasına çoktu, zaten ostersunds muhteşem oynadı diye kazandı demedim, adamlar boş alan bırakmadı, ağır maicon'un ustune gittiler, gomis'i topla buluşturmadılar. Ahmet gibi bir yetersiz de maicon'un agırlıgını telafi edemedi tabi. Yapabilecekleri en iyi şey buydu zaten onu da başardılar. Ama su an oynasak Istanbul'da belki 2, 3 farkla kazanirız ama öyle laylaylom bi galibiyet alamayız bence. Amatörün bir tık üstü adamlardan oluşuyor bu takım, hele o kalecileri falan Turkiye'de amatör kümede oynar. Bu yüzden takdiri hak ediyorlar. Nitekim Avrupa Ligi gruplarında ortalama üstü takımlar vardı.

Ayrıca hazır olmayan Gomis, Belhanda, Maicon falan ostersunds maclarindan bi iki hafta sonra canavar gibi oynadı. Hazır olmamak elenmemizin bir nedeni ama asil neden bence ostersunds'un müthiş konsantre savunmasi ve bizim kadromuzdaki birkaç kımıl zararlısıydı.
