If I may. They also have an electric ball valve. You just wire a two-way momentary switch for open and close. You just got to wire the switch for reverse polarity

Link to said valve?

@@texasboystv in case KZbin is still being funny about external links just type in electric ball valve. Amazon has a bunch of them. Just as a little electric actuator that opens and closes the ball valve. Actually I use it for controlling the heater temperature in my truck on the heater line. But considering you can feather it for that I don't see why it wouldn't work for an air horn. And then I've just got it set up to a two-way momentary switch so I can stop it where I want it

Thanks. I’ll look into it

I just got the horn blasters valve. They now come with the 2 springs like the GW 353.
@texasboystv2 жыл бұрын
Let me know how it works!
@sepa24012 жыл бұрын
@@texasboystv It works very well. I like the edition of the cutout on the handle as it allows a pull chain to be used. It's basically the same as the GW 353 without the branding as well as slightly cheaper material. The handle is all one cast instead of the removeable rubber found on the GW.

I guess I miss understood, the second spring was the one that was reported as being too stiff. Have you found the second stage to be very stiff?
@sepa24012 жыл бұрын
@@texasboystv The valve was pretty stiff out of the box, but with a week of constant use, the valve started to loosen up. The second spring is designed to be more stiff than the first stage. I mounted it to a portable air tank, and I have to hold onto the handle of the tank when pulling the valve (Which works well). I'd say as long as it's mounted to something solid, you're fine.

Unless you get a Viloco or Whistle cord. Those two valves are undeniably some of the best.

? If I run a 1/2 inch line to my horns for the tank replacing the 1/4 in would it be louder ? I'm thinking so but I'm not sure what size the inside of the sylinod but it's / sylinod is connected right to the 4 horns so maybe it's bigger than a 1/4?
@texasboystv10 ай бұрын
What horn do you have
@greglambo310 ай бұрын
Vixen 4 horns 3 gallon tank at 200 psi not the greatest but at $300 plus all I could afford. Comes with like 1/4 inch line.

It's pretty loud with a decent sound. Was thinking of putting in 1/2 in line to the horns.

200 psi with more flow might tear up diaphragms. It would be louder until it isn’t.
