As a 40+ year old Canadian it's hard to express to non-Canadians just how riotously insane, hilarious and original his Rogers Cable Show and then Comedy Channel (Canadian network) long before he got to MTV. It was completely the most unique comedy program around by far.

His show on Rogers Ottawa was so unique and pioneering. No one had ever seen anything like it. 25 years later you can see his legacy having blazed a trail for so many new formats and styles. Screw Director's Cuts! Who gives a crap about Directors? We Need SCREENWRITER'S and EDITOR'S Cuts of films! NOT Directors! Directors are grossly over rated!
@daarionaharis664Ай бұрын
We’ll Tom did all of those things. And directors are in no way overrated. Screenwriters most of the time sell the script which is written again by at the very least one person. And editing is typically a team effort which involves the director a majority of the time. The editors cut is literally the Final Cut you already watch. People say directors cut because it’s the initial vision of the director with all of the scenes the director filmed still in tact.

Tom, if you are reading this, please know you have forever changed my life. Your undercutters Pizza business inspired me to create a series of undercutting businesses. Like our very popular undercutters ambulance service. Or our mobile Undercutters Asian massage service. I am sad to say that our undercutters burial service was shut down by court order. We would arrive at the funeral home, day of the service and offer 1/2 off the procession, plot and burial service. Thanks for the inspiration.
