Does it say anywhere what decibels it puts out, your microphone was very confused, so it really was loud loud. You may need to consider ear protection, when using it

Not that I saw. I think that one was louder than it's supposed to be since other people with the same model never mentioned the noise level.

Hi, the button has a timer so does it mean we just turn it to the right to choose the number and it gets rewinded back by itself? By the spring? Or do we manually bring the button back like every other cooking device? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Thank you for the video! Dust goes flying everywhere even when the lid is closed and the tabs turned inside to “closed” position. Do you know what else could be making this happen? Thank you in advance

There should be a gasket on the inside rim of the lid. If it isn't there check the parts kit that should have come with the unit. Otherwise you may need to contact the seller or manufacturer fot the missing part. Also there ar knobs by the locking handles, if the handles aren't firm when pressing them into the locked position you'll need to tighten the knobs to get it to seal properly..

thank you for your response! after I saw your comment I checked and realized that mine did not come with a proper gasket. I returned the 1000 for the 750 and that one has a rubber gasket and I'm not having any issues with it. Thank you again! @@WorldofMe

I put the grains close to the max. indicator and the flour leaking right away as I switched it on. The flour started raining from the bottom of the container where there's a little gap for the cord. It's right above the reset button. Secondly, the start button's name is timer. Does it mean that we just move it to some number and it rewinds it back by itself? Or do we bring the button back to its original position? This timer button is very cheap looking so I'm a bit careful using it. It has right arrow only so I'm worried that shall we move it ourselves to bring it back. Your answer would be appreciated, thanks!

If it's leaking through the bottom of the grinding bin/container I would suspect there to be a missing bolt, as there are no other holes in it to leak from. If it's spilling out frome under the lid the gasket may be mising or damaged. To start you turn the timer dial to the amount of time you want to grind, it should start as soon as you turn it.. Longer equals a finer powder but also increases the heat produced. You do not have to turn the dial back, it opperates just like an egg timer.

I have the same model. Only had it for 3 years, used about once a month to grind wheat into flour. It just died the other day, seems the fuse needs to be replaced, any idea how to do that? Btw, never received a manual with my grinder. Thanks in advance.

mine has stopped before too. On the base to the right of the timer is a black and red push button. This acts like a breaker switch on a surge strip. With the unit unplugged and cooled down press the button and plug it back in. It should reset. Also check the "brushes", those are the black circles on either side above the base. There should be a black piece on the spring , if not use the parts that should have come with it to replace them.

Can this grind wet grains such as nixtamalized corn for masa?

Essentially it works similar to a blender, so it should be able to as long as it isn't over filled. It might be more difficult to clean after though.

might be something wrong with the "brushes". Unscrew the little black plastic caps on the sides just above the base & check to see the black squares (brushes) are there. Sounds like a brush may be missing.
