This looks awesome. Have you considered adding per-grain randomisation or LFO mappings? Like having random panning per grain.

The spray parameters for pan, position and pitch are what you're looking for! LFO modulators can be used for this purpose too.

If you removed the pitch detecting part of this synth, it would still be amazing! Maybe make that an optional feature(?) It sounds so smooth when editing a single key, and then I go back to global and it’s a mess. All the other features are great ideas! Basically I’m trying to say, if you took the pitch detection/machine learning (or whatever it is lol) out, I would use grainbow on everything! 🌈❤

Nice! One question. I am looking for a granular sampler with which I can polyphonically move the playhead positions per note in real time to consciously make use of the harmonic content of the sample. An example: If I use a sample of a piano note I’d like to be able to start later in the sample and then manually move back to an earlier position in the sample where the sound is brighter. If one can do this with Poly AT one can use it to articulate every individual note in a held chord to make them stand out. Then the harmonic content of the sample itself can be used as a sort of filter that is tuned to the natural harmonic content of the sample itself. This will turn a granular sampler much more into a precision instrument. Can gRainbow do this?

Sounds like a great idea! gRainbow doesn't support poly AT/MPE at the moment, but I'll add it as a Github Issue in case someone wants to add it (or me, if I find some time in the future).

@@StrangeLoopsAudio Wow, it would truly great if that could be added. Do you fully understand my whole concept from that short description? I basically would like to be able to “ride” the harmonic content in the sample in real time. To me it seems rather evident but most people seem to see granular sampling more as a box of Lego. “Let’s see what happens”. With such added functionality granular sampling however becomes a sort of scalpel. A more practical alternative for full resynthesis. Cheers! 😁

is there a way to make decisions that affect every pitch the same way without having to go into each pitch and manually copy settings?

@@JibberJabJones Thats what the global settings are for! If you select a particular pitch, itll only change the settings for that pitch, and same for if you select a particular generator.
