Hey man, Just wanted to thank you for putting out those videos. Been watching for the last few years and honestly, as my attention span gets worse every year you're videos are somehow among those which I love to watch actively, just be taken along it and immerse in it. Thank you for taking us along and being authentic in the sense of just being a normal dude with normal challenges and a somewhat normal life and struggles and so forth. Somehow the Ektachrome Christmas has become a somewhat oddly familiar yearly ritual by now. Thanks for what you do Jason, it matters. And praise God for the film that reappeared. What a gift. Greetings from Germany

Thank you Mr. Days for sharing your life. It maybe boring to you (or busy as fudge) but it brings comfort and joy to us masses as we pet Baxter vicariously through your moving pixels. You are actually an encouragement to me as a lover of film photography who never makes pictures with the negatives or memory cards he fills. Time to lose my excuses and make some prints! In Poland we have pick up points and pick up lockers which you choose when ordering if you know you won't be home but even if you don't the couriers do not just leave a package at the doors 😢 they take it back and try later/next day. Maybe get a PO box?

I used industrial x-ray film for pinhole images a while back and found it was almost like litho film....extreme high contrast and pretty much the negatives are pure black and clear, very little grey as I remember. Many industrial x-ray films are double coated with emulsion on both sides of the film.

During my 25 yr career in commercial photography mostly in studio under controlled conditions I used an insane amount of EPN in all formats and I found it to be spot on in terms of color rendition. I may have missed some things that you said but it would not necessarily be the film that would cause blue. Could be outdoors=5000k+, UV, or processing. Wouldn’t know if out of date emulsion would cause blue. Anything outdoors with EPN I used various warming filters probably 81A. I seem to remember Kodak came out with an Ektachrome that was warmer….Fugi had a good one too. Love your channel.

When I shot Ektachrome in the '70's I only knew it as slide film. It liked blues and greens and kodachrome was the go to for red, orange, and yellow. I didn't even know it could be print film. At $21.00 a roll.... I will not likely be shooting that film. I cannot believe how much you travel and take pictures. I could not do that kind of thing. Your shirt with the skull and knife... I made an earing once. Knife through the skull and the blade exited from under the cheek bone. Cracked me up to see your cool shirt! Really stinks that your prints were stolen. Then, really GREAT that your film came back. Who would have thought that guy would bring it back to you. Remember this little piece of good fortune some time in the future,

Note on being invited over to someone's house to see their vacation slides. As a kid in the 70s, it sucked. My dad would always find a way to weasel out of it. So my mom would pack up my brother and I and go over to someone's house who had more money than us. To see the great places they traveled to while we were stuck home all summer using the towns public pool for recreation. I dont think these were people my parents even liked. It was like being in a real life Steinfeld episode. You know, the one where Jerry complains about having to see the baby. The death of the home slide project is the greatest advancement for humanity since covered wagons.
