It is distributed as special oil for herbarium. in Japan. The flash point is high and made safe. It seems to contain oil used as a raw material for cosmetics. "Baby oil" seems to be similar to that. Please be careful about safety when using it;)

Thank you for watching video! The purpose is to make it beautiful by soaking the plant material in oil than the purpose to keep the original color. By filling the glass bottle with oil, the plant material inside becomes more beautiful due to the refractive index of light. It is used as interior decoration.

Sindhu Kulkarni Don't know about this, but if you're having trouble finding the right type of oil, baby oil seems to be a very popular choice for this.

I'm sorry. I haven’t tried it. Maybe It’s okay. The ingredients of the oil are almost the same as baby oil and cosmetics. However, "HERBARIUMU OIL" is a dedicated oil for making Herbarium. Safety, manufactured according to Japanese law. Thank you:)

Mineral or baby oil is fine. Herbarium oil is very expensive. Get them at the dollar store. If anyone wants to make and sell their crafts, always go for cheaper supplies if you can. If you use expensive stuff and it reflects in your price you might not be able to sell them.
