A climb I. Grampa’s Heep, my 1948 Willys CJ2A gets a little bit wilder than we expected during the 2023 Idaho Vintage Jeep Rally.

That was a cool clime Stan but I think you should be a little more carful think you may have scratched your left front fender or maybe it was the right rear it happened so fast. Did any one else try it? It don't get more fun er than that one. Paul

Hi Paul, for some reason, I didn't notice any new sratches. 😂 Several other jeeps tried the climb while I was there. (I headed out a little early) Only one other made it while I was there.

Hey Stan what are you using now for the spring hangers? I know you used to use M38A1s but these look different. M38A1s are like hens teeth

I switched to a plate type shackle with a slight lift. Kaiser lists the m38a1 type. www.kaiserwillys.com/products/leaf-spring-shackle-kit-heavy-duty-fits-52-66-m38a1-greasable/

Thanks Stan, have you got a link to the ones you use? mines an M201 jeep and the hangers on the chassis are metric plus the m38 shackles are like hens teeth to get
