How’s this hotel regarding location for the main strip etc.

The hotel is around a 50min walk to the main strip, it is closer to old town. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel that takes you directly to central benidorm along with other areas such as altea, albair. The hotel is a stones throw to x2 beautiful beaches and there are bars, places to eat, supermarkets even an aldi close by. It really depends what sort of holiday you want we like to visit the strip once or twice then explore every where else but if you want to be close to the main the strip and spend most of your time there then the Melia is a good choice kzbin.info/www/bejne/a528eoB8n7qCeqMsi=xEXReqk5BCCEiv-o

Is there any entertainment for kids on an evening or is it adult entertainment only?

There is a games room with air hockey tables etc in and they also have a games room with xbox, ps4 etc that is open for the children. They also have a inflatable bouncy castle etc area outside though I can't remember what time that finishes. We stayed through low season so there wasn't many children there at the time and we were out or sleeping after a long day of exploring. Hope that helps 😊

Hi it all depends on your taste. So we found that it was mainly focusing on the Mediterranean diet (you are in Spain). Whilst we were there most of there guests were spanish so that would make sense. Towards the end of the week there were more British guests and there was burgers on the menu. We generally find anywhere we stay in Spain don't offer alot of chicken. We would say find a seat, then take a look at everything before you start filling your plate. At breakfast we didn't like the coffee though everyone else seemed perfectly happy so I'm assuming it's a spanish way of brewing (very thick and strong) there were choices of tea and instant coffee sachets to choose from. Again find where everything you want is 1st. The cooked food was obvious but the where abouts of the milk in the beginning was a mystery for the cereal but once found had no other issues
