We went to Puerto Rico earlier this year, just for a 5 day break. Loved it. Not a huge choice for live music, but good enough. For a great day out you cannot beat Puerto de Mogan. I would advise anyone going to take the climb up the steps at the back of the town. You walk through stair-streets past some houses that have put out displays for climbers to look at. At the top is a viewing platform. The views are amazing. Such a beautiful place. Also, while we were walking around the marina area, we saw a massive ray swimming there. A lovely place.

Puerto Rico Kevin and that hill your walking i had an apt much further up that hill I'll never forget it but i think theirs a lift nowadays. Any Holiday destination that makes it tougher and more complicated on Tourists will after time backfire I'm writing this from Tenerife and nothing has changed killing the goose that lays the Golden egg is Short lived. Nice video complete with Hitchcok type suspense ending!! The thing going on at the Marina, that you thought was to do with Christmas, is an old guy who sits on his boat and plays music and is surrounded by colourful lighting. He's been doing this for years, we once asked a Scottish couple who worked in Puerto Rico what was going on and they told us he is mourning his late wife, she apparently liked music and colourful lights, quite sad really.
