One thing I WILL say about this game: It's almost unbelievable how close this game looks to real life. But it's the gameplay that counts, and to ME, GT5's driving physics nailed it.

Even a decade later. This video doesn't seem aged at all, it's a great edit. Even though I never had the chance to play it, all the great memories from GT4 came to my mind. As someone else said, thi video really captures Gran Turismo's "soul".

@C4L1BOY You can add aero parts to some of them, generic rear wings to nearly all of them, you can paint them (but not add decals) and add different wheels. Other than that, all the upgrades are mechanical. Oddly though, you can't upgrade the brakes. How did they miss that out? I don't know. I do know that I want this song on my iPod in High Quality. RIGHT NOW.
