I played this game ages ago but didn't actually buy it until May 2020. I wound up falling in love with it after getting back into racing games and easily put over 1k hours into it. It's just a lot of fun. The only downsides it has to me are the loading times (GT6 did a lot better in this regard), the leveling system restricting you from driving/owning really cool cars even if you had the credits to buy them, and some really awesome cars being super hard to get due to being rare in the used car dealership. Still a great game though. edit: You picked the purple Cyborg! That was the same car I chose in my 2020 playthrough 💪

One of the first games I bought for PS3. I had a late version, Academy Edition, so the experience was the most complete and interesting And MCR in the intro brings back a flood of memories

I got the Academy Edition as well but I am not sure if I actually got any of the additional content. I think a lot of it might be tied to the download code in the box instead of being included on the disc. And unfortunately the download code is already expired.

From what i see out of your videos, is that also you got a lot of understeer, so maybe it is not just my problem on setting the games ( Gt 4 and Gt5 ), Gran Turismo 3, is really the better from all of the games...

No, I don't actually notice any weird understeer at all here. Where are you seeing that? For me everything seemed normal in these races.

@@enricomazzarellosimracing6502 Yes, for me the handling in GT4 and GT5 feels very intuitive. The cars are behaving like I would expect them to. I am sorry. I wish I could help you but I really don't share the feeling that you are describing in these games.

@@Paragleiber Ah well that's odd, if I recall this 0:37 is the 1.0 intro, 2.0 had "soul on display" by daiko kasho and yeah the intro is wayyy different, alao you were gifted a toyota 86 as a present for updating to 2.0 etc.. kinda weird but thT's what I remeber (I bought and played this when the 2.0 XL edition copy of the game was sold in stores)
