"If you have played Forza, GT is shit" Dude, these haters thinks they reallyare gamers or car professionals? Gran Turismo is the most complete simulator ever, a full package of content. Forza series, mainly Forza 5, seems like an arcade style for casual racers, most likely a realistic Need For Speed style game. Also, poor content which was half of his predecessor, no driver licenses, no night races, no weather effects, not that challenging, also the GT6 physics and breakes were considered best and more realistic by driving professionals. Forza series gets boring faster because of lack content, and nothing else to do, just like other racing games. And GT6 is a bad game just because of SOME bad sounds effects? I'd rather play GT6 with mute sound, but at least playing a true simulator game full of content, than playing a sunny arcade racing game with beautiful sound effects having a small number of cars and tracks.

@Vaennor Walker gt is not complete when you get to the pitched up and down recycled car sounds, cause these cars don't sound anything like what's in this video and the exhaust sound is part of the driving experience. Then we move to the standard cars and tracks they chose quantity over quality by porting instead of redoing the cars and tracks if anything gt has literally resold gt4 2-3x and all the better and extra stuff were updates and in store bought dlc with a new disc really. Gt needs to make the exhaust sounds more realistic, make most of their if not all of their cars and tracks premium/up to standard for 2014 and onward. Cut down on all of those cars gamers don't want and won't use and put cars gamers really want to drive like hypercars and supercars take the top 25 fastest production car list and go from there. If these few things gets done gt will be the best but that will never happen cause ppl/gamers are fanboys and only look at the pros and ignore the cons if enough ppl write to kaz or whoever and complain about the cons gt will fix these problems or at least try to.

stop buying the exhausts in the games, it just changes the sound file. Listen to the E92 M3 in the game with stock exhaust and then listen to the stock exhaust in real life, they sound almost identical but once you buy an exhaust in gt, then its a different sound file. Stay stock ;)

Firstly, you people judging GT6's sound using the built in speakers of your TV or a budget home-theater-in-a-box and calling cars vacuum cleaners because you don't understand why you get transmission whine when you install a straight cut gear dog box have no idea what you're talking about. I have my PS3 hooked up with 7.1 to my X-Fi Platinum in my PC which I use as my mixer, using audio creation mode with some personal tweaks and channel mapping with parametric equalization on the center and rear channels to level the sound to my taste. My speaker setup, which involves 3 subwoofers (12" ported, 10" enclosed, 8" chair mounted "butt kicker") and 21 strategically placed satellites with about 1,500 watts total setup for SQL and not SPL, I can assure you as an OCD audiophile and audio engineer/musician, Polyphony designed an incredible sound engine with GT6 if you have the equipment and skills to utilize it.

Jaylin_sb Big surprise, but cars are really loud things. If you're expecting to reproduce the sound of a car on a pair of $80 2.1 Bose speakers, you're in for a disappointment. Polyphony has also been the only one to get the sound right of low RPM misfires/breakup that you get when you're running a race cam with huge duration\lift. GT6 is also more accurate on the rasp that headers and cat-removal do to an exhaust note.

I think the best engine sounds in GT6 are the late model V8's, V6's and some of the race 4cyl cars sound amazing (like the Senna F3 car). This list needed a FC3S RX7, a NSX and the Senna F3 car.

Really people still using the audio loss cap from youtube. Doesn't matter if you have a freaking 10.2 surround sound system. The engine sounds are horrible. They got even lazier as time went on. People say the Avent adorable sounds soo good when it is actually a murcielago recycled sound. They didn't even try. The agent adorable has a high pitch whine and a beast of a kickback when shofting. project cars is an improvement in sounds but the physics aren't accurate.

If anything, GT6 has quite a lot of engine sounds, but that is only when the car is stock. As soon as you add an exhaust, the sound of that particular car uses one of the very electronic noises Polyphony has in its reach. If there were more noises to add to the list of the very small amount of sounds we had, then maybe we would stop complaining so much. As an example, when you mod an American Muscle, most the time they end up with the same sound, like that GT40 has in this list. Sounds don't effect physics though, and that's the perspective you should have on this insane game.

+supersimon126 actually in terms of capabilities, GTA is a lot more complex, intricate, bigger and full of details than GT, with pretty good graphics and plenty of stuff consuming resources, unlike GT, which dedicates all of them to the graphics of circuits and a couple hundred cars, as there are many of them with graphics and sounds from ps2. I bet they could have achieved better sounds while having +1200 cars

The thing is that gt6 has waaay better physics not to mention different physics for all cars and they have an actual well made interior which gta does not have..Gt6 is focussed on having good graphics and physics. Ofc the graphics could've been better better but gt6 is only on ps3 where gta is also in ps4 and pc and other consoles.. In terms of physics and all that gta cant really compete with much because that game is based on other stuff such as graphics and .. Well... The name kinda says it Grand Theft Auto. And also gt6 has very detailed tracks from the real world (Same goes for cars) aswell as having the license for making those car makes and tracks in the game. Where gta's map is just pure imagination really. Take Nürburgring GP. Can you imagine how hard that is to make in a game with all the bumps. Graffiti not to mention just the tracks corners and all that stuff. Funny enough the game currently has 1234 cars and 41 tracks with 86 layouts

Those 20 sounds you are putting in this video certainly aren't the best. You should have played the RUF CTR Yellow Bird, the LEXUS LFA, the MAZDA RX-7 Spirit- R Type A '02, the Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec-II '94, Ferrari F40/GTO, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 '06, Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 '02, and many many more. You also picked the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and GT40 in 15th Anniversary versions. That was clearly wrong. Their standard counterparts sound MUCH greater, and in STOCK condition, than those awful "tuned" sounds. Try my suggestions and hear for yourself. Especially Ayrton Senna's Lotus 97T '85. It outclasses all cars in the game !! :-)

ShowMeThatPlot1337 I find myself the Amuse S2000 GT1 and GT1 Turbo didn't sound that great in GT5 (for a Honda V-Tec). They still are ine GT6, but I didn't buy them yet because of that. So I can't guarantee you they sound the same.

He has tuned up some of the cars with an titanexhaust! But Yamauchi means, a patch will come up and the sounds will be better in there of the cars, like with more power and better graphics should come for a patch, too! Like Forza, Assetto corsa or Project Cars!

I think most people have long term memory loss. Didn't the ps3 come out in 2006 and this game came out in 2013 with more than content than any other racing game ever created? Heck, they can just pay turn 10 to use the sounds from theyre older games. or one of the other racing games out there with good sounds like NFS or the simbin titles. ti me....keeping the same sounds from GT2 and 4 is just inexcusable. the fact that he makes promisses and never keeps them *sound patch anyone?* or releases useless features like that datalogger that only works with one japanese car on 3 japanese tracks. thats right, it only works with the FT86 on three tracks in japan. not sure how that works for everyone here in the states or in europe but its not worth taking a trip all the way to japan to use that. specially when simbin does it better. anyways, its the 6th game in the line, and forza, barring horizon, has 5 games. and had the engine sounds downpacked from game one. sony is going to have to kick Kaz in the butt and make him bring his a game if hes going to stay relevant with these new games coming out.

@VF28WWE this may come as a surprise to you but they are not just pitched versions of the same sound. Each car has got a verry different sound! Use the stock exhausts! Plus using a clutch helps the shifting sounds alot.
