That's nothing. C-League is wreckfest. I got relegated from B to C league for being stuck between 3 cars (front, back and the left) with the four of us going 285km/h. heading for a big corner. Just couldn't do anything to avoid not hitting the car in front of me. Than there was the C-league. Qualified third, second corner got bumped into the wall. The guy who did it got 3 secs, I lost 5. I quit playing.

This kind of ramming is normal in lower lobbies. You spend a whole lap racing clean trying to get past a slower driver, and then as soon as you do, 9 times out of 10 they either try to pit you out of the corner or ram you into oblivion at the next braking point. It makes it really difficult and frustrating to move up from the lower lobbies, especially with the sportsmanship rating meaning nothing now in GT7. I keep an S rating at all times but most races there's someone with a D or even E SR in the same lobby.

It sucks for sure, but if you really are faster than your DR would imply, just put a good hour into grinding a banger quali time and farm wins from the pole with the strongest car for the race. That's an easy way to rise to A or even A+ lobbies in a relatively short amount of time.

this happens in almost every race. Dirty drivers thinking they are cheeky and can get away with moves like that. Had a French driver who either punted people off trying to defend the inside line or dived the inside and pushed people wide. Took one for the Lobby and sent him to the Shadow realm.

PAD_rul did all of the Big No's when defending: Defending in reaction, moving to block in the braking zone, trying to run you off track in the braking zone, and trying to pit you. It was definitely a hard divebomb by you, but you made the apex and the corner so it was clean would have been completely and obviously clean if he wasn't ramming you.

That penalty in Bathurst is the most pointless thing in GT Sport and sad to see it's carried over to GT7. And it's 3 seconds instead of 1.5 in reality, should be only given if you actually hit the wall imo.

I always get nervous about ‘divebombing’ in on the inside. Whenever I’m racing I’m the most polite man… I find myself giving way to everyone just to get a nice SR… chances are I plough into someone after cracking from the pressure or because I lose concentration 😅

I think go for the move if there is enough space. If you misjudge the move/attempt just back out and give the position back, thats my 2 cents. I was the same and figured I'm doing myself no favours if I don't develop that area of my racing.

With that being said Its a work in progress. I'm sure they're aware of the problems and are working on it. Like GT Sports I'm sure they're gonna have plenty of updates with new cars, new tracks and layouts, and a bunch of other stuff each month or so. I mean this game is almost a month old, and like all games they come with their own problems. Its still one hell of a fun game to play even with its flaws. No game is perfect

I know there are a lot of Spanish players in Gran Turismo, but from my experience in D, C and B lobbies there is a sad majority of them who drive like the lad the end of the video. I really don't know why that is, maybe there needs to be a national campaign against road rage down there. When ever I get into a Daily Race of other lobby and I see at least 4 to 6 Spanish drivers I always prepare for carnage which almost always happens. Appologies to the clean Spanish drivers, I also know you are out there, I am just sharing my observations after 5 years in Gran Turismo online racing.

These people shouldn't play games, they can't get over the fact they got outplayed and tried to crash you out to get the win, they bottled by hitting the wall on the mountain. Unsportsmanlike conduct to a T there, I don't think he realizes that replay also has data from everyone in the race, so they can see your steering inputs.🤦 I hope he does try to report you, then you send PD the video and let them do as they do.
