Turns out engine swaps in Gran Turismo 7 can get pretty wild, like swapping a 4.2 V8 into a Toyota MR2. I test it against the standard setup and... we already know the V8 is better but we have to do it anyway!

Fun fact, the famous Tom's Castrol Supra was actually engine swapped with the engine out of an MR2 Turbo/Celica GT4 and modified up to around 500bhp. Love an MR2👌🏼

Depending on how in depth they went into settings etc, your wheel feeling lighter sounds right, with the R8 engine in you have a lot more weight in the rear and less in the front, so try putting some weight back on the front and try it

Only if you don’t know how to drive. Snap oversteer was just coined by idiots who don’t know how to drive them, they’re actually very grippy and stick to the road like glue when you keep your foot down.

I have owned 2 MR2's in the real world. Both were the MK2 GT T-Bar 2.0 editions with rear spoiler. The 1st car was red, the 2nd car was white. Both featured black leather interiors. I fastest speeds i managed to hit, was 125+ mph (201kph). While the car was great on sunny days, it was difficult to drive in windy conditions, and very difficult to drive in the rain. I managed to spin the thin on the a number of occasions, normal in the rain, taking roundabouts too fast ;D ..i'm a sucker for pop up lights, which the Toyota MR MK2 features :D

Hey pants, if you want a more stable car here's what you need to do: buy a customisable LSD and put it on low settings, lower the suspension enough so the wheel is still able to fully turn, ad more camber in the rear for less oversteer, make the front roll bars stiffer and loosen up the rear, and for the final touch, of you want a more racecar feel bump up the natural frequency. Incredible? Glitches get fixed and this is a live game, so these things tend to get worked on relatively early. Sorry you missed it, but I'm pretty sure PD will move this to a store or something because waiting for lucky engine rolls in that dumb gatcha system for daily marathon is foolishness of the highest order.

The steering is lighter because the engine is heavier. Less weight on the steering axles. Also the reason for the rear swinging around way more.
