Gran Turismo 7 - Porsche Cup (Cafe Menu 31)

Cafe menu book number 31 in the campaign presents us with our first challenge when tuning to be under PP 650. I've added all of the upgrades possible and then tweaked the settings sheet to show you how to achieve PP 649.99 with all of the purchased upgrades still installed which you can see in a previous video. In this one we race the car at the Autodrome Lago Maggiore and I comment on the handling whilst driving against some tough competition.

This challenge is not really a challenge when the difficulty is set on ''medium''. I'm playing this challenge on ''hard'' and still with laptimes of: 1.013 ish, the gap to the last opponent is around 1 second in the last 5 corners... Driving a fully balanced GT3 RS (991)

Congrats on the win! The main challenge for me was keeping on top of the car in the high speed corners rather than the difficulty of the opponents as having too much ballast made it very heavy. Well done on the "hard" victory!

@@YeahYouGaming If needed, I have a pretty balanced out Porsche GT3 RS (2016) build, PP649,47. Stage 1 & 2 weight reduction (bought in the tuning shop). Front tyre sport hard, rear tyre sport soft. SUSPENSION fully custom: Body height: F100/R135. Anti Roll bar: F6/R6. Damping ratio compression: F40/R40. Damping ratio expansion: F50/R50. Natural frequency F2.00/R2.00. Negative camber angle: F0/R0. Toe angle: F0.10/R0.10. DIFF fully custom: Initial torque: 60. Acceleration sens: 15. Braking sens: 20. ECU: fully custom, no adjustments here. PERFORMANCE ADJUSTMENT: ballast positioning: -10. CLUTCH: racing. Added a spoiler and front lip spoiler. I have to say turning the car in slow corners is still something i'am working on. Nevertheless it's a great driving car also with TCS OFF, which you need turn off in order to push it to the max.

I just completed this menu, and it’s by far the toughest. Struggled to get into 3rd on Nordschleife, did it after 4 tries😂

Ouch, 4 tries? Thats mad, I imagine that was frustrating. Congrats for persevering though and getting there in the end!

Got it in the second try with inters and got easy first but I drive the nordschleife so often that I didn’t crash or something

@@YeahYouGaming Thanks! The 600 Touring championship was tough too! Just pulled through it, good that the level of challenge increases as you progress in the game

@@OffWhiteGhost1 that’s great! I didn’t crash too, just struggled to catch up to the leader, but I think taking a more aggressive driving style helped a lot to draw the gap closer

i'll do 4 laps of 2:16 and i'm still a quarter lap behind my 1st place, thats crazy you had a tow before even lap 4!

I complete my race in 10:53.xxx and am roughly 3 seconds behind my first place I don't see why my ai is racing drastically different

I've got the ai on medium, the middle option of the 3. I know that sometimes the cars you race against are randomised also so it could be worth trying a few times until you get an easier field of opponents. The car was a bit of a handful for me on the ragged edge a lot of the time but that could be down to my driving style just pushing hard all the time. I wish you luck and hope you managed to win it
