Just had my very first online race yesterday. Started with someone glitching out the auto drive that caused the entire field (except for 1st) to be left behind. 1st place let everyone catch up and decided to have fun running people off the road for the entire duration. I managed to get past him and held 8/9 laps until he successfully got me, at which point he received a 3 second penalty which let me get close enough to squeak 1st away from him on the last lap. Not a great first race experience - I will admit though, it was fun avoiding him
