It was amazing because it wasn't just a switcharoo, it was him bewildering his opponent that led into a switcharoo. It was the perfect ploy against an angry, nervous driver because it used their aggressive driving against them.

I'm in the same boat (been following him since the forza 6 days) and I agree with all of your statements. I remember when he slowly started doing more GT Sport stuff instead of Forza and I started to get upset by that since I really loved Forza but now? I wouldn't have it any other way. He is great.

Same here. I had an Xbox collecting dust then stumbled along a forza video that was a few years old at the time and bought forza. Started watching Gt sport videos after I watched all the forza and eventually got a ps4 and gt sport. Now I have a ps5, gt7, and a g923 while looking at a dd pro and new cockpit. Steve has cost me a lot of time and money lol.

Yeah, that Brazilian was not a driver who was trying to have a good race; that was someone clearly driving with their eyes firmly set behind them, as they were aggressively and intentionally blocking you and nudging you to force the penalty. That's someone that has learned just how much they can get away with from the penalty system, and they stay just under it. You showed profound sportsmanship going up against them.

22:09 was satisfying. I fear for my life anytime I see someone driving with that green and yellow flag. Constantly ramming, defending for no reason, just driving sloppily, super unpredictable. They would happily lose 10 seconds to an entire group ahead if it meant they could defend against one person behind.

Yes, I think it's better to have the ghost start slightly ahead. I tend to get better laptimes with a 0.1 second gap.

Man, you have so much patience with some drivers... that Brazilian was trying to play dirty tricks on you while clearly being slower and yet you showed him what a clean overtake looks like. That turn 1 overtake was extremely satisfying.

100% how I've experienced it as well. Brazilians are more aggressive than any other drivers in the region. In iRacing however, it was not the case. Raced with a lot of Brazilians on iRacing and never run into issues like I do in GT.

FUJI is a great place to spend a race weekend, and perfect race weather the last two days -- excellent paddock, some fantastic corners to hunker down and watch these GT sleds on the limit; saw that crash you referenced -- carbon fiber everywhere. Oh, back to reality -- fantastic P13-P1 drive!

I watch these races, & I love them. Then I go & race them, get pole position & have exceptional races immediately after, and it can't be a coincidence. I even got gold on the circuit experience on my first try after this (except sector 2 took me several tries).

That last race was similar to Kie livestream awhile back where he testing med to soft strat and he finished in P4 due to no quali time but P1-3 in that race got 1 min penalty so it pushed him up to P1 and won the race as a result

22.30 YESSS I found that is the most effective maneuver for me. Bumpdraft the others over straight and they will overshoot in curve 1. Great stuff!

the last section is hard on any car/bike and I think the key is controlling your speed without scrubbing off using the turn in. Its easy to get carried away and try and push the front in these
