Gran Turismo F3500-A Driven: First Impressions

Chaz gets behind the wheel of the exciting/terrifying/bonkers new Formula 1-esque car to appear in Gran Turismo 7 - the F3500-A!
The car is - from what we can tell - loosely based on the 1992 Williams FW14, powered by a 3.5L (hence the name) naturally-aspirated V8 engine. It produces nearly 800 horsepower, pushing along a car that weighs just over 500kg!
It's now available as part of Gran Turismo 7's 1.55 Update.

I woke up at 5am today and put on my PSVR2, bought this machine, eyes fighting to stay open and had 5 of the funnest laps on Grand Valley Highway at dusk. It was a beautiful way to start my day and before I knew it I had to go to work 😅 will be hopping right back on when I get home in 30 minutes!! 🏎️ 💨

I like that you can customize the bodywork and also change the exhaust, and get a different exhaust sound.

⁠@gtplanet Chaz, it’s well worth doing a video about the FH5 news. Sony & PD will have been aware of this move for many months so it will be interesting to see what they have planned (if anything!). It’s easy to say PD don’t care about the competition but Sony certainly do.

This is a 1992 Williams FW14B with a fake livery and a different name. Not exactly "made up"

@gp75motorsports Actually, if you factor in its engine being a V12 and sharing its tachometer with the Toyota GT-One, it’s actually more akin to the Minardi M192
