That second race when the 911 punted you, you could tell by the last corner and how aggressive he was on the straight that he was never not going to punt you on the first corner. Filthy driver and bad sportsmanship.

I'm so jealous. The racing on Grand Turismo is so much better than Forza. I have many Forza titles, and the racing seems to be getting worse with every new title. It's to the point where it's not worth playing multiplayer on FM7, or FH4. Cheers

I'm Shrike005, driving blue Lexus, starting from about minute 9 in this video. Bloody 911s all around, but once Lexus is in front, it's raw power can be utilised, since 911s and R8 are waaaaaay better in cornering, especially on this track.

4:30 I've had something similar to that where I went to the bottom and the guy behind me just went all the way into the grass just to get the inside line and then called me out for "Blocking". People need to respect the fact that the person in front gets to choose their line and you have to go the other way round.

Yeah, agreed. Plenty of people really don't understand what is legal defending and what is blocking. As long as you choose your line early, hold a line and don't move twice then your fine.

Great video as always. Questioning why you would push for the lead on race #2 with 3 laps to go. If you are driving an inferior car, why not stay in 2nd place (don’t fight the leader, thus not allowing the others behind you to catch up), and make your move on the last lap, since you have the advantage of the slip stream?

Main reasoning is that the player in front is quicker. Therefore, chances are that if you stay behind, they get away. The best time to challenge is straight away and control the race from the front. Waiting until the last lap is very idealistic and relies on myself being on the pace the entire race against a faster player. Also, the other driver will defend a lot less early in the race.

I've tried getting back into GT Sport with the controller recently because just like you, I'm too lazy to setup my wheel everytime I wanna play. But god damn I just can't handle GTS with a controller. The handling seems so weird. Not smooth at all. No issue on Forza though.

GTS needs to create an algorithm similar to Call of Duty whereas if you have “team killing” occurring that the player gets automatically kicked from the race. Too many times other players have a bad Internet connection making it difficult to race against them or they are purposely ramming people off the track, slowing them down by blocking on purpose, and driving erratically making it difficult for the true drivers to race. if they have an automatic “kick” penalty after so many poor driving instances, they should be kicked from that race. Otherwise, touting the game as the true driving simulator is incorrect. If these players were on an actual racetrack they wouldn’t make it out of the paddock driving the way they do.

I agree...if you tune it right it can be more balanced into and out of the corners but with bop on and no way to tube suspension, you really have to practice and be gentle into the corners as it’s so easy to spin or slide out

i wonder if you tried to use the Aston Martin V12 vantage? faster than the porsches on the straight and it works pretty well around this track. but i admit, i am using traction control with that one. Very good for handling on long corners. On tracks like Kyoto and Willow Springs it does very well. Problem is power and it has poor top speed.

Another epic video! As a B rated casual noob on GTS, I tend to use 2 TCS for Gr3 cars and my best lap on this track is a 1:57.500. I don’t feel I can go too much faster. Is the TCS holding me back a bit? Or am I just a noob?

@@WallyDjUK 56.5 is very quick and maybe possible with TCS but you're gonna be quicker without it. Learn to be very disciplined when applying the throttle and try to straighten the car slightly when doing so.
