The 'ignoring track limits' penalty needs to be reworked so you don't gain a penalty for when you lose/don't gain time doing it. It's so stupid when you go off accidentaly and lose a lot of time AND get a half second penalty on top

Can't deny it is a good looking game. Just a shame the car and track list is shit, and tuning has been deleted in favour of upgrading with mileage points...I liked the diversity of the huge car list and being able to turn a crappy old Civic into a Goliath beater. I hope GT7 has a wider selection of cars and tracks, and I hope tuning up returns as well.

corner at 13:20, easy right hander. aim for the flagman on exit for getting back on the throttle. the tight uphill chikane earlier where you break up left then hairpin right....trail brake the inside of the left and ride the shoulder as deep as you can before getting 70% throttle right. release point is the end of the left side shoulder

I actually love that Sardegna layout, both normal and reverse. Had my best races there in the Gr. 4's and Gr. 1's a few months back before my wheel broke.

I’ve always loved the Sardegna tracks and their just kind of, not necessarily too fast, but sweeping, flowyness to the corners and how really connected each turn is to another. Allows for really good races at times. Lot of defending, lot of skill required.

I agree. Sardegna is a weird circuit. My best lap lap was in the 650s with a 1:41.2. The last chicane is hard to keep consistent into that long straight. Plus i was surprised there was alot of car choice. Never was there a whole grid or even half a grid of lambos. lots of 911's, DBR9's, Vantages, Vipers, Corvettes, etc.)

This super formula race helped me to earn about 10k in ratings and jump to A ranking. I really enjoyed that races. Hope for more super formula in the future.

What I've noticed when you take an sr battering, the lobbies with cs and ds drivers are a lot of fun, it's when you are in AS and AA lobbies where you have a certain crew of people who dont care to race clean. All the drivers are relatively quick but dont care for sportsmanship

@@oz2362 from my experience recently, especially in the Americas servers, there just aren't enough players. I'm AS and it's not uncommon to see BS and CS drivers in daily race C. FIA races are the only times I see great racing these days

There was a Daily Race in Sardegna Road track a few months ago, only going in the opposite way and with Group 1 cars. I remember because it was the only time in this game where I was crushing it in A S.

I'm a super new player (bought the game last week and it's my first ”sim-racing adventure") and I'm finding it pretty hard to get my SR up. People just go for unbelivable dive-bombs and then I'm the one that gets hit with the SR down and the penalty which, in turn, puts me in the midst of more idiots. I know I just need patience and to get better so I can pull away from those bad drivers, but it's tough 😂

GT Sport is really a great game when the people who you're racing against play clean, you can really have great battles. You can also get sent to the shadow realm on turn 1 and screw up your entire day (looking at you, Fuji Speedway with Super Formula)

I used to be rated at driver B and sportsmanship S. But after only a few races of being punted into the abyss, cut off, pushed, etc it dropped me down to D/E. That level is like the gulag of gt sport! Simply nuts and yet fun in its own way

At my peak I was mid 37k DR and constant 99 SR. Hadn't played since beginning of the year after all the chaotic penalty system reworkings and I hopped on last week in hopes of working my way up to A+ for the first time. GTS had other ideas and sent me to the shadow realm resetting me to an abysmal 2500 DR and 25 SR. Currently back up to 17k DR and struggling with SR rating constantly fluctuating race to race.

Hey Steve!.. Love your videos. I am sort of new in Gt sport... ( I know... Late started 😁).. And most of the rating system is pretty obvious to me... But I really didn't know what the mean with this: A low SR score can limit the DR Class, and even reset the DR score to predefined values (7000 pts if SR dive below 5, 20,000 pts below 15 and 50,000 pts below 30. Penalties are still bad, you just got lucky. I had a couple of bumper kisses into that corner, slapped with 4 seconds. I got smashed off there and seen others sent to the realm, and yet no penalties for the perpetrators.

Serious question, if you see this. I watched both you and Basic Ollie and where you brake for the hairpin at the Red Bull Ring, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how you brake that late. I tried breaking that late and I just flew off the track by a good 10m... So I'm guessing it's break balance, better trail braking skills or both, but I just flat out couldn't do it. It's probably a bit too serious of a video compared to your normal style but I'd love a late braking masterclass video :) Thanks.
