Leniency seems to change every different race configuration, that said, there wasn't that much contact other than that one weird incident where the ghosting happened a split second too late. This is the highest rated lobby after all

I remember the first time I was like "this guy... is a pretty funny guy" It was an episode on a willow springs race, and he was talking about how unforgiving a track it was and how if you went off the track you would need to set up camp on the way back because it was such a long journey. And I think shortly after that was the first time I heard him make a "rigor mortis of the tyres is setting in because they're that dead" joke as well. So it was a quick one-two punch of deadpan metaphor that won me over 😂

There was a race at Sardegna B at some point and turn one is a right corner there with a single file line and so I kept poking my nose there to force people into mistakes and it was working so well it turned into a meme for my brother and I.

Overall race-craft is generally woeful on GT Sport at the moment, too many fighting for every corner on every lap like their lives depend on it - now we're without contact penalties it sometimes feels like a heated scene from Broke Back Mountain!

I think Sylvester got revenge on the wrong driver. He might have thought Berz punted him two corners ago but it was Leo that did it instead. If you see Sylvester's replay he didn't even try to brake at that point he mashed the throttle and slammed into Berz. Dirty driving on all fronts during that lap.

I truly wish that you would do your qualifying times on a video every Monday, because there is just something about how you speak and explain what you're doing as you replay everything you've done to get your times (which are always about 1.5sec quicker than mine best). I know there are a few other KZbinrs who do that, but I suppose it's because you speak in a manner that I jive with... Either way, great video as always.

I'm in the same boat, fairly new B/S class player and I'm getting tired of putting in the time to get a good quali lap, starting in pole position, but then it's actively detrimental because there's always at least one person who uses everyone in front of them as a brake Turn 1 and is straight up rewarded for it. Honestly I'd take even a slightly dodgy contact penalty system at this point as long as people are encouraged to actually try and make Turn 1

By the way in Gran Turismo there is an approach attack maximum allowable speed. The cars will go invisible if the game senses the speed of attack from another car is far beyond the average speed of everyone else. This is to protect the rest of the field from people retaliating against Italians 😆. And on these longer races if you start on the harder compound and you start in second place pit the lap or 2 after the leader pits and you will win everytime

Yes, it helps to turn the car slightly. The moment you downshift, the rear end steps out slightly and helps the car to rotate. You then shift back up to the ideal gear for acceleration on the corner exit.
