Just the fact that Colin Weston isn't wearing a tie is significant and makes him stand out in this context. His Saturday morning intro is from 2nd June 1984. The Friday night trailer and continuity before it will be from Thursday 9th August 1984 - what a fine series 'Annika' was. The clip with a mention of Telly Savalas is odd because it appears to be a half-hour bulletin at 10.55 - presumably a delayed News at Ten.

Ah! We noticed the tape was multigenerational and had clearly done the rounds of the enthusiasts a fair few years ago - nice to find out who originally recorded it! What is the point of that horrible blocky G at the start? Why not just start with the usual Granada ident? An attempt to seem edgy and 80's perhaps?
