A couple of other useful things. You can hold block and still dodge, if you are late on the dodge the game will still consider you blocking. You can also do this while attacking too. Secondly if you are downed and don't have a revive potion, mash every single button on the controller/keyboard to hasten your own recovery. The game teaches you this the first time you get downed but that's usually forgotten while learning everything else.

Stun is also the stat that affects breaking parts. Critical probably still beats it out in overall value, but I always try to have a character with high Stun on my team. Some characters have skills with naturally higher Stun values. Since certain drops are dependent on breaking various parts, you can put together a specialized farming team.

Just a thing for the future, but including what's essentially a hidden boss as the first clip here makes this a really hard guide to show to my GBF friends trying to get into the game. That boss is one of if not the biggest surprise for GBF fans, and I know if I clicked on this thinking it's a general guide and get spoiled immediately I'd be pretty annoyed. Really good guide though like usual, really happy you're covering this game!

Pretty sure terminus weapon is better because it has damage cap. Maxed out ascension weapon still gets sigil booster.
@EnelXC10 ай бұрын
I think i said one of the reasons but yeah the damage cap is one of the major things putting it over other weapons
@heikitsune218110 ай бұрын
The funny thing about the damage cap being low is that, yeah the main game is higher. Reason being: This is the max HP for the, as far I can tell and currently, the hardest raid in the main gacha called Super Ultimate Bahamut 3,000,000,000 Yeah. It's a 30 man raid sure, but it's still nutty and people do try to solo that and many boss raids. Yeah GBF damage can get nutty. The game will be out for 10 years next month, so through out the years they had to obviously compensate for all the borken characters the make; looking at you Eternals and Fediel. Speaking of, I believe next month we should get a due date and/or release of two new characters, Seofon, and Tweyen (our first bow user) and tough raid, lucilius; which has the infamous 30,000 HP check attack. Tweyen and Seofon are the Eternals. Won't go too deep but in both lore and gameplay they are the strongest characters for their respective weapons and they are free to get with a little grinding. Kind of the strongest lore wise at least for Tweyen as they kind of messed up with story a little as her strength can be contested by her best friend Sliva, a sinper who beat her in a practice dual, and Metera who can fly which is only something gods and near god like people can do. Yeah the flirty sexy girl in VS is nearly and/or just as strong as a woman who can take out a whole fleet of ships, holding back, with a few arrows and tangle with the concept of casualty and time. It's not that shocking once you understand Metera's character though. GBF's power scaling is funny. Nearly every character I'm VS and Relink can go toe to toe with a dimi-god/god. With the captain, Gran/Djeeta, being the obvious ones.
@luciferkai806510 ай бұрын
So many misinformation in this comment lmao. 1st: super ubaha is a 6-man raid and it’s not even the hardest raid anymore, that belong to Hexachromatic now. 2nd: Juuten are not even that good anymore, the most used one nowsaday are Siete, Nio and Seox and you rarely see them in most nornal team because limited characters and some flb Evokers are much better. Fediel is not even the strongest gacha character in dark, the problem child is actually Lich. She is still a good character tho, but not broken because she need Lich to maximize her usage. 3rd: Lorewise most Juuten can be rival by some really strong fighter in the story. Narmaya is as skilled as Oktor and he did norminate her to be in his 8th seat if he retired. Siegfried is strong and skilled enough to rival Threo, the man did fight Beelzebub for 3 days straight etc. The thing that make them stay a part from other fighters is that they can use Revenant weapons and their connection to the blue power. For now the only person stat true to his tittle as the strongest in Juuten is actually Siete as seen in his flb story and the last anniversary event.

I have my first trouble of my playthrough, I can't get past the dps check of Versa-youKnowWho in the quest to unlock the last difficulty. I have my main going full dps while having 2 AI offensive-supports with stun weapon and 1 AI with full support skills (UwU yuumi-tier) with HP/taunt sigil. I configured my team like this during main quest and since it always worked I thought I'm just a genius. Should I just put crit weapon on every one ?
@EnelXC10 ай бұрын
Might be easier if you played online, but you absolutely need damage caps on everyone to clear this reliably otherwise you won't do enough damage, especially for the dps checks. Crit weapon would help though.

The game was like a solid 9 for me for the visuals, audio/music, the story mode, the character variety, the varied gameplay, and the boss fights. But after the honeymoon period ended (reaching proud diff, putting around 80 hours into the game) I started absolutely hating the game tbh. The game becomes a tedious gacha grindfest, the bosses become sponges, and the sheer amount of boring stats to manage piles up and it becomes unbearable. When I bought the game I was promised a stylish, party-based anime action game with GBF characters. I don't want to AFK farm in hopes of getting one specific item. For me it's just padding out game time and it doesn't provide any new meaningful experience. The game would have been much better if it was more like the Tales of series.
