Loved the demo, 100% worth it for me. Really reminds me a lot of a Tales of game. Seeing Bandai Namco isn't discussing anything with the next Tales of game, this will be the next best thing for me. The only thing I wish the game was in HDR. The spell effects are killer, super bright on an OLED even on SDR. Can not wait for this game to come out.

Ngl all I need is Narmaya 😭her play style is absolutely addicting and rewarding once you spend your butterflies. Combo loops and damage aww man can’t get enough of it. Online is awesome though I hope they incorporate traversing a dungeon/level fighting mobs and then fight a boss.

This game looks great but the one thing really killing my interest is that none of the characters change appearance based on the gear they're wearing. One of the most exciting elements of an RPG is the growth of a character, both in power but also visually, and considering this game is so focused on beautiful aesthetics I was sure we would get to see the characters cosmetically evolve. Unfortunately it's not the case and I find that very disappointing. I may just hold out for Blue Protocol instead.

I feel you. I tried the demo on PS5, really liked the way it plays but i wasn't satisfied that i had to stick with 1080p 60fps. I am planing to buy on steam but i have the same fear about how well it will be optimized and if the community will be big enough to make queue times for the online quests short.

The demo was fantastic. Gameplay reminded me of FF7 and multiplayer coop is similar to Seven Kights 2. Overall I can see myself playing this game for a very long time if they continue to update the game with dlc's.

I will say in the last Relink stream, FKHR explicitly came out and said it's not intended to be a GaaS. We do know we have a handful of updates coming in the months after release but I wouldn't expect a ton of major stuff long term.

Sorry in case i missed information in the video. The game seems to revolve around a 4 character party. What happens when you play 3-player coop? Is there an NPC with you, or do you just go with 3? If the latter, how does the content scale, if at all? If i understand this correctly you have the 20 hour or so purely singleplayer storyline to complete before reaching endgame, which is then coop based? I get that there is coop quests sprinkled throughout the story too, but we are mostly coop focussed players. If so, is there a way to skip the story or something, so we can focus on the coop parts? No, really, i wouldnt mind skipping it all lol. I couldnt care less about the singleplayer and story parts. It might even end up turning us away from ever starting the game, if it cant be avoided, which seems like a shame. So im just wondering if there is something we can do to get to the coop grind immediately, or circumvent the story in any way.

I know people are excited for other games, but as an exemple, persona 3 reloaded is a game that you can play whenever...while Granblue Fantasy relink is a game that is online based and it'll eventually die plus people will be mostly endgame if you start to play it after a while and if the Demo is any indication it's going to be gard to find people to play lower level quests.

Curious about one thing, if there's coop mode, wouldn't it be unfair for those who use assist mode to auto block everything ? Or assist mode is disabled in coop? I dont see the game can work fairly if those assist mode is allowed in coop challenging raids.

I think its more of a farming tool other than cheat option- and until you not go against other players its accaptable feature-the game is not that hard even a potato can play with this game if they can dodge some attacks so the auto mode is just a feature.

Probably the biggest thing to know is this game is a CONTINUATION of a mobile game. So to get the actual start of this story you either need to watch a mediocre anime that half asses the story of the mobile game or go watch lore bits on youtube. This is not like FF or Persona where each game is a contained story. I think this is supposed to be the final arc of the granblue series in some way. Which means necomers are missing an entire CHUNK of story

If the demo is any indication the quests aren't really what I'd call a quest. All 3 in the demo take place in a small arena and were straight up battles in said arena with no real questing involved. I still love the asthetic, and the fighting is good, but the "quests" leave something to be desired.

Yeah, that's my biggest worry right now. When I first heard about this game I thought it would be an open world JRPG, then figured ok maybe it will be more linear, now as fun as the combat was in the demo was just dropping into an arena to fight a boss and leave feels way too plain.
