Definitely need to commit this to memory. Thanks this really helps. Also on a side note what controller do you use, I use the dual shock but I always have trouble with doing the commands and been thinking about getting a fight stick. Any thoughts?

I am playing on a fight stick and recently switched to an octagonal gate from a square one, but I'd recommend you only switch to stick if you really want to try something new/different: dual shock is perfectly fine! :)

@@hauntedchannel3893 Thanks man appreciate the advice. I keep that in mind especially now since I don't have any money to buy a fight stick at the moment. Also great video once again.

If you have any interest in taking a month or so to get used to a stick, it can make fighting games more fun. It won't make you better, but you may get better because you're enjoying yourself more. If you decide to get one just wait until you can purchase a $200 stick that comes with sanwa or Hayabusa parts. Cheap sticks will make you hate them.

@@lovebreaksyou @airean Same I made the switch a couple of years ago, but if you can go for a $200 stick I would recommend it. I currently use the Hori RAP4 and the square gate and loose stick makes me hate it at times. I'm upgrading it soon. You could start off with a cheaper one but its nothing wrong with making a bigger investment up front.

man, how works that 2u-22l link of the combo in 2:07? i see that you are cancelling the 2u into 22l, but i cant do the same

I'm currently stuck on this combo too. I'm not sure how it connects.

I figured it out. You have to hit the 2H at the end of the jump.
@hauntedchannel3893

Yeah, that's a tight one but very worth it! You have to let the opponent drop as close to the ground as possible. Hardest version of the anti-air follow up, but the most versatile as you decide if you want a safe-jump, super, safe rebuff or meaty setup afterwards!

Man, I struggle so much landing the 5H after 2H in 1:45 anti-air, and when I do the 5H after 214M in 1:49 anti-air, I either get the H follow up, or I whiff the attack for waiting too long. The timing seems super strict :(
@dominikgraner4012
@dominikgraner4012 4 жыл бұрын
Don't worry, the timing and especially spacing is quite strict on the first one! I recommend going for the 214M option and go for 5M afterwards in case 5H doesn't work for you consistently! :)

Last combo you do, just 5U -> 5H -> 236236U does more damage and saves orbs/cooldown

3:23 says no orbs but you have orbs and 2H doesn't link without 236H!

What do the numbers mean? Is it the same as square=1 triangle=2 etc.

I have a question. Why do you use mostly mediums for combo's and not heavys. Don't they do more damage?
@hauntedchannel3893
@hauntedchannel3893 4 жыл бұрын
The picture during the first few seconds has a few notes on it, including one on this: the mediums are a placeholder and can be exchanged. Also you are correct but one interesting thing to note: due to a lot of scaling, less autocombo normals will often result in higher combo damage. Would have to test it, but an easy example I could think of is after a counterhit universal overhead: [CH UOH > 5H > Super] should deal more damage than [CH UOH > 5H5H5H > Super]

Good point and yes, he can do: 2L > 5L Also, against standing opponents: 2L > 2L > far5L And against crouching opponents: 2L > 2L > 5U Both very important combos actually and depending on range, you'll only get one 2L - thanks for pointing that out!
