I'm glad a lot of people in the fighting game community saw ladiva, found out she was a woman, and then accepted that about her. It's very sweet to me as a trans woman myself. I know there's still a few weird/rude people who don't accept her or trans people in general, but for a large part the people who play GBFV support her.

27:55-29:15 I know next to nothing about the original game, but if this is anything to go by, then (after Gran and Djeeta) Ladiva is probably the kind of best friend/maternal figure people like Nier desperately need in their life. Especially true once you realize anyone who hurt Nier and somehow manages to escape big sis Death may find themselves facing mama bear in the ring (and Ladiva definitely doesn't feel like the kind of girl I want to see mad).
