I still much prefer the original version cause the piano sounds really nice with the orchestral sounds, and the choir is also much clearer there. Though I understand that giving it more of a rock remix fits better with the fighting game, the electric guitar drowns out a lot of the orchestral instruments and choir.

Still a little disappointed that the last character wasn't Sandalphon (are they doing a third DLC pass?) but I do admit Seox's theme is pretty good. Not quite the same feel as in the proper game, but still great.

im assuming you skipped the story where theyre in a timeline where the primarchs never existed because of realities converging. Except for Belial. until they go deeper into that plotline then dont expect any Sandalphon anytime soon. we have 2 more dlcs coming so lets just wait

It's a good track, but as has been pointed out before, it "lacks direction" compared to the original. IMO they did a much better job with Ferry's theme, which is a complete remix of her character song. Also I think they should've gone with "In this small, narrow world" (the eternals' theme) for Seox' theme instead of this, but maybe they are saving it for later.

idk if this song will be in my Top 10 of the OST, for me personaly it lacks a destinct highlight and it mostly the same from beginning to end, still sounds nice though

It is more a battle of will and convictions than it is a physical fight. As a conclusion to Seox backstory, it is slow paced, like a moment of stillness in time. So, in a way it's kinda normal that it don't make in any "top 10" the same way anime tracks often lost power without the context behind them. It was constructed around a specific event rather than just to sound epic. kzbin.info/www/bejne/moqbgpV3hN2frdk The other song from that event is way more powerful but have an extremly slow start because of the turn-based RPG format. Imagine something like "the calm part plays first, then when the boss hits overdrive it switches to the upbeat loop" Seriously, check the original soundtrack, GbF have a lot of excellent songs. ^^
