Yeah but honestly I much prefer the Relink version. Sounds more meaty

As with all granblue raid themes its split into 4 loopable parts that can easily transition when the raid changes phase at the 75%, 50% and 25% hp threshold.

Believe it or not, there's a p5 arrangement of this song for the collab event the game had with p5 and it's REALLY cool!

Great video! So hyped to see your impressions on the hard-level fight OSTs if you do them. Personal favorites: Zero+What makes the sky blue; these 2 songs go together in a single raid. The later is often overlooked and it is easily the most epic moment of the fight for me. Other bangers are on the same level too (The Ultimate, Existence, Paradise Lost, Parade's Lust, Morning Light Hymnus).

One of the things that is great about Granblue Fantasy is that these songs are usually performed live on anniversary or new year's events, and you can hear just how incredible it actually is when you see it performed live, it takes so much work and effort and it's incredible to see it come together, to actually see it be done through sheer passion of a bunch of guys making a song about a very badass dragon.

The lyrics are unfortunately a case of Engrish, a Japanese singer struggling with the pronunciation of English words. Which in turn makes them hard to understand without subtitles. The line "a red-scaled wyrm and girl in blue" also refers to two central characters in the story

as a foreigner I have to say that I thought they were native english speakers. It seems that being native or not makes much more of a difference than one thinks, until a case like this happens

Granblue is a turn-based mobile/browser game multiplayer RPG, that has become quite huge enough to have festivals, performances, spinoff games, etc..I think they're celebrating 11 million players now. I can't wait for you to listen to some of the other major boss songs from Granblue because you'll see just how far the rabbit hole goes 👀... Also about the transitions, the phase changes in the fights and changes in the music definitely work to hype you up and add to the feeling while you experience the fight. 👍

you know... i have never heard thsi song fully since it dies so fast even when i solo it, but it really is a less melodic version of the ultimate baha fight. obviously the same boss but different form, but still catches you with the same lyrics sung in a different way lol. Close with the smoke analogy, the boss is restrained and blindfolded for the first part of the fight and then picks up after they break out.

This is a raid theme The boss, Proto Bahamut, will slowly shift to Dark, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and back to Dark (the lyric starts when it goes back to Dark). Its a long fight back when its new Theres a gigantic lore behind Proto Bahamut that I will not go into. Its complex

Luckily, I love going into complicated lore :D Basically, Granblue originally had a single creator-god, which split into two along with the universe. The Astral Realm is ruled over by a fragment whose name we do not know, who holds power over preservation (analogous to Vishnu). This is why Astrals are immortal and unchanging beings unless they spend an extended time in the Sky Realm. The Sky Realm is ruled over by Bahamut (not proto), who holds power over destruction and creation (analogous to Shiva and Brahmin combined). Bahamut frequently takes vessels to interact with the Sky Realm, and when he departs from these vessels, they remain behind. The Astrals found one such vessel and bound it, transforming it into a "primal beast" (a living weapon that oversees and embodies a concept such as "contracts" or "blossoming flowers", fills the same general narrative space as primals/eidolons/summons in Final Fantasy). This bound vessel was enshrined on the island of Zinkenstill, where the captain grew up, and became known as Proto-Bahamut. Generally, raids against Proto involve facing him at increasing levels of channeling the original Bahamut's power, although I think the original just has you facing a Proto-Bahamut who's completely unshackled.

Gonna chime in to recommend some tracks unrecommended so farr, and also the Stella Magna version of New World Order, bc it has better understandable lyrics lol Anyway, I'd recommend... Sanbagarasu Otoko Uta/Song of Three Men, which is more of a joke song, but still enjoyable Defense Order, specifically the Stella Magna version again, Existence, either the 4 minute version from GBF or the 8 minute version from GBVS, but I think the 4 minute one should be finally, and finally.. Morning Light Hymnus. You should listen to this one after Paradise Lost/Zero/Parade's Lust(/maybe Existence) since that's how they're sorted in the chronology of that substory.

"This soundtrack is a mofo. I can imagine the gameplay." No. You really can't. The soundtrack is ungodly good for the actual gameplay of GBF. Also, if you didn't mind the gratuitous amount of Engrish in this song, I also recommend Defend Order: Offensive Defense. I would consider it the standard HYPE song for GBF.
