@@granbyjmd HI John.. I have a fleischmann TT HO scale to control it I am using a LDT TT control decoder via a Ecos command center , and I also Use Train Controler Gold but never even tried to work the TT via the automation software. My fleuschmann TT has a random problem with the clutch mech where it will not move the bridge which I need to sort out first... I also have a Fleischmann Turn control unit...but never tried that eather.. Jim

Hi Jim Fleischman TT is fully supported by Train Controller.....its brilliant ...totally reliable. Sounds like you have a mechanical problem .....if it always stops in the same place it could just be a defective segment which is a relatively easy fix......hope you get it sorted ok....best wishes John

@@granbyjmd Thanks John.. Good point on the clip in segments as some of mine are third hand by the looks of the contact areas...ive took it all apart and rebuilt it and it now works...thanks for your advise.. I may look at getting the TT on to the Tc software...I do have a spare feedback unit just for the TT areas...... Jim.

John, have you done that as a series of schedules (timetable) or one schedule triggering the next etc? Looks excellent.
@granbyjmd
@granbyjmd 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Sorry about the music interference with the stills....wont try that next time. Its a series of linked schedules, starting at Shed Reception and culminating when the loco finishes inside its designated shed road. The following schedule is started as a finish command in the preceding schedule. I prefer this to successors because I can insert an appropriate delay before the next schedule starts. The rules of each schedule are changed to allow the loco to stay in the start block and the general properties changed so that the schedule start is attempted for 2-3 minutes to allow for locos ahead blocking the ash and coal blocks. Hope this helps........thanks for watching

Hi John, my apologies for not replying sooner....its particularly embarrassing because it was your help site on Chip fitting that started me 12 years ago. To answer your question......its a series of schedules with each schedule having the next set up as a successor. In the properties of each schedule the “try again” time is set for longer than the default to allow for line ups like those shown in the video. So glad you enjoyed it Best wishes John

Hi may I ask what level of train controller software you are using? I see there is Bronze , Silver and Gold packages on their website.
@granbyjmd
@granbyjmd 2 жыл бұрын
I have Gold V9. The names tell the tale. Gold has all the bells and whistles. Bronze is very basic entry level. Silver is a junior version of Gold but many of the most useful Gold options are omitted. HTH

@@granbyjmd Hi thanks for the reply it was helpful. Can i ask what electronic systems you are using along with the traincontroller software, i would like to know what electronics you have going on that work with traincontroller software? I suppose one of the electronics modules would be the command station. Are you using all one brand of electronics. I hope you understand. Thanks

@@granbyjmd I am looking at CTI electronics to go along with Traincontroller Gold. was wondering if you have any experience with them?
@granbyjmd
@granbyjmd 2 жыл бұрын
@@Hereford1642 Hi No experience of CTI My system is primarily Lenz. DCC System, Turnout Decoders and Occupancy Detectors all Lenz. Its been rock solid and super reliable for 14 years! However if I were starting again I suspect I would buy a different DCC system.....Lenz hasn’t done much updating. Secondly when I switched from solenoid turnout motors to Tortoise stall motors I found the Lenz LS150 turnout decoders had too slow a response time. They may have modified the LS150 recently but I bought a Switch 8 decoder for the key turnouts. Train Controller integrates seamlessly with just about every DCC system but it does not fully support every turntable. It took some trial and error before I found the Fleischman Turntable and Turncontrol decoder used in the video. Fleischmann no longer make 00 turntables I believe they are now branded Marklin HTH John

@@granbyjmd Hi Thanks for the reply it was a great help. Can i ask how your system keeps track of where trains are on the layout, i see it knows where each train is and its name? I am currently researching the digitrax electronic systems.
