I’ve been listening to GBK for about 15 years now and in that time the discourse around them has more or less remained the same. They were always the one “controversial” band that pretty much everyone into underground music loved even if they didn’t publicly admit it. (I’ve known several people from bands that you would be shocked to find out that they loved GBK). Nowadays the younger crowd seems to love them. I’ve always thought of them like running wild/mercyful fate with black metal elements. Nothing like Gelal hitting those trad-metal melodic parts. Sick video man!

That chorus riff in Lamb of God slain will be, when it finally drops is soooo good. Gelal knew he had something with that riff because they repeat it like 8 times. Incredible band.

I love the bit where he complains you can't easily find any Black metal release you want in a standard store. Like, missing the point of the entire genre. Gonna be mindblown when he realises you can buy the CDs online from the labels.

To be fair I got most of the albums in a mainstream Australian store, shipping is too expensive here to order overseas, sometimes it’s more than the album costs

I don't think they're technically even NSBM. Anti-Semitic yeah, but nothing in any of their music as far as I'm aware refers to NS.
