For your old solo from tbc content, would a hunter in pvp gear still work/be viable?

Also out of curiosity, i heard people say blood dks are better at soloing, who is the better soloer: Blood dk or bm.mm hunter or does it depend on the raid?

blood dk is better in general but in some niche circumstances a fight might be easier for a hunter.
