Grand Canyon National Park, 3 Day Trip in Sun and Snow | 4K UHD

This is a video on our 3 day trip to Grand Canyon in December 2021.
Grand Canyon was the last stop in our 7-day trip encompassing Death Valley, Antelope Canyon, and Grand Canyon. We entered the Canyon from the East entrance and our return flight was through Las Vegas.
On our last day at Grand Canyon, Snowfall stepped in and transformed the Canyon into a Winter Wonderland!
The Grand Canyon is in northern Arizona and is one of the great tourist attractions in the United States as well as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It is a massive canyon carved over several million years by the Colorado River. Grand Canyon National Park boasts an elevation change of nearly 7,000 feet. The canyon is over a mile (1610 m) deep, from rim to river. In spots, the rock layers exposed in the canyon display over two billion years of geologic history. Several Buttes (Rock towers) are named after Hindu Gods Vishnu, Shiva, Brahma, Rama, Buddha conjuring up exotic images of far-away mystical lands and religions.
Colorado River started carving out the canyon six million years ago, but recent studies have shown this process may have actually started 70 million years ago.
Grand Canyon displays the Great Unconformity: 250-million-year-old rock layers lie directly against 1.2 billion-year-old rocks. No one knows what happened to the hundreds of millions of years of missing layers.
