No, as a South African fg player, there's been major Tekken tourneys here since 2017. This is the first Street Fighter one to my knowledge though.

So far a different character has won a different major event. Ken won CR, Blanka won CEO (as a an extra pick mind you) and Marisa won this. The meta is obviously developing so anyone calling for nerfs doesn't know what they're talking about.

Or being more realistic you can look at Buckler results (winrates, masters rates etc) to see who needs to be balanced. These tournament winnings mean nothing really because they were all hard sweeps by the winners, the player skill levels weren't close, especially here.

the higher rated characters were the ones easier to use at the start of the game. No one really knows until its grinded out for a ton of hours. this game is still in its infancy and people are calling for nerfs. if anything it shows people dont know what they are talking about. just because someone is easier to play doesnt mean they are stronger overall, the people that played those fighters just peaked faster from a quicker learning curve. The beta got rid of infinites and some other broken things.

Big bird my favourite player. This video is a masterpiece for Marissa play. I thought she was good but easily countable and started to lose confidence but Big Bird revived my favourite character!

yeah he mastered the easy mode character that requires zero execution, has normals with hitboxes the size of a house. When the game feels 'mastered' within a month you know the game lacks depth. What a pathetic game if this is all that's required to win a tournament

i really feel like Akainu didnt play against her properly in this match, Guile normally can zone her.. Akainu did well in the first rounds but after that he frequently walks himself to the corner where you never want to be against Marisa

Well that’s what a try zoner supposed to do ..Bait the jump ins and flash or ex flash that super man punch ..That’s what makes sonic blade good ..I have a buddy that place her and up close her buttons are just too over whelming for guile . So you have to slow her ass down and also use super#2 which he didn’t use much either .
