What an amazing final. Some of the plays by Yo were insane. When he won it was often absurd, and even the games he lost, it was still spectacular. I had to rewatch that Mayans castle defense, because I could not believe how he got a castle up with 4 mangonels in his face.

this was such a lovely watch. A breath of fresh air for competitive aoe2! Don't get me wrong, I love all the great tourneys from t90 and memb, but they are just quite similar at the end of day. Here, with this special setting, not only we see something different, but also someone different, not just a Hera domination with that feeling of unavoidable win on the way. It is great to see how strategical and out of the box thinking can determine this "destroy tc" games, it brings that part of competitive aoe2 that I personally I enjoy the most to watch :)

yeah, +1 to the comm above. usually it is used in an ironic manner about something really ridiculous that is usually considered to be not an option or a bad play, but the player gets his timing/strategy/execution so neat, as it actually turns out to be a genius play. TheViper did indeed gave birth to these meme.
