Guy adjusted his voice to match Bella, he could had sang it lower to make it easier for him, but he wanted Bella's voice range to shine. Bella's tone is soft and naturally high that's why Guy chose to match it for their voices to blend really well.

The miracle is that those notes are within Guy’s range! He could have pitched it lower, but he chose to showcase Bella’s higher registers, she could have handled it lower, but in those miraculous runs and riffs she does seem to be more comfortable when she’s in her upper registers. They are both incredibly talented, I don’t understand how I’d never even heard of Guy until I saw him on “The voice” just recently. Guy has a huge range, he’s incredibly good, though I don’t think much of the generic “pop” songs he’s put out latterly, I understand that is probably the largest spending group for any singer, we all have to make a living.
