Several years ago, I was with a group of work associates waiting for our flight out of Atlanta's Hatfield airport. A young man sat opposite me, chowing down on a hamburger. I immediately recognized him, Kieth Urban. So as not to draw attention, I gave him the thumbs-up, and he replayed with the same gesture and squared off to catch his flight. It’s hard to believe that as a coach Keith has never won the Voice in Australia. Most Aussies have no clue how successful Keith is in the US, mostly because country music isn’t popular in Australia. Also many only think of him as being Nicole’s husband. That’s why the better singers/contestants don’t choose him as their coach so he always ends up with an average team.

it's a shame. I'm not a country fan, so I'm not super familiar with his music, but whenever I've happened to see him perform I've always been struck with his talent. I've also always thought he's sexy as all get out, so if I were on the voice I'd have to pick him regardless lol

You have zero idea of what you are talking about!!. Before any American knew of him he WAS successful in Australia ..l bought his debut album and his songs were played all over the radio ....again you have zero idea!! That was 30 yrs ago before half these contestants were born!!

Keith had to go to America to find that same level of success. It’s just a fact that Country music isn’t popular in Australia, only in small niche areas like Tamworth.
