Seriously such an underrated play. I don't play a lot of Terran, but that level of Micro under all those medivacs covering the screen, while splitting his marines at the choke point, and while running into Lurkers has got to be such a clenching moment for both players

Thought Maru would die on that attack. Shocked how he managed to win that fight. In retrospect, looks like Rogue pulled his ling bane too far forward so most of them died out of range of lurkers. Adding on to that, Maru got lucky (though could be purely skill) since he managed to time his units to move to dodge the lurker attacks.

Can someone explain why Maru kept building Medivacs in the first game instead of Vikings? The Medivacs were almost completely useless, and while the Vikings would have died quickly too, at least they would have done some damage to the Mutas.

As you said Vikings are pretty bad against Mutas, so even if somehow Maru survived, the Vikings would've been useless and he was already behind, where as at least he could've used the medivacs with his bio and maybe put some aggression

@@sleepy4118 I mean, the Vikings at least could have distracted the mutas by being annoying and using their range to bait mutas over marines. The Medivacs healed maybe like 50 health in the last few minutes; pretty sure Vikings would've done more than 50 damage.

I played starcraft before Dota. I really used to love Starcraft. Dota 2 tournaments are more interesting than these games because there is a flight always till the end, and your enemy can always come back. Watching StarCraft games is really boring, as soon there is a little advantage someone throws GG.

Top 4 iem (serral got top 12) , asus rog champion (serral got top 8), top 4 neXT (serral got top 8), and dh winter champion (serral got top 8). Beyond that, he also got a top 2 at a gsl this year. Serral fans who continue saying he's better than maru are damn delusional

I like how the zerg brain works: if your opponent is on two bases - put double as much and still hold it; if you lost a hatchery - build 2 hatcheries instead. Where to get money for all that, also the only race that can trade half of the game ineffiecently, and still be in the game. The answer is obvious, zerg economy is broken af, race should be fixed, creep should be removed or reworked down to broodwar mechanics
