What fun to have the grandkids there! How happy you and Lynn must be! When I first started investigating Mexico, I asked my niece, who spent a year in Tuluca teaching English on a Fullbright scholarship, if she knew anything about Ajijic. Coincidentally, her roommate's grandfather lives in Ajijic. She has visited him there and loved it. If my husband and I can live off one of our ss checks, we can bank the other to pay for the kids to visit!

My mother & father loved to come down and visit. My dad loved to go and walk on the Malecon and enjoy the families walking around, as well as, the mimes and other street performers. It was a nightly ritual for him.

Hi JC, it looks like Ajilic has got talent, your granddaughter has a beautiful voice. What a wonderful visit you all have had together, that slid looked like fun and all the great food. How nice it is to have friends to travel to Mexico and visit family. My family were busy with all those things too, so we moved to give them their own lives to live without our interference. It took a very long time for us to get use to not having them around us all the time, but we knew it was the right thing to do. They are young adults now, and we can see it was good for their parents to be the only parents. We love just to be grandparents!
