With Flow Motion, it is bugged and doesn’t increase the 10% recharge time. Also, Fool me Once is bugged too. Below is somebody’s post on Reddit a couple of years ago Mauls ability cooldowns are: Saber throw - 8secs Choke hold - 18secs Spin attack - 5secs or 5.5secs with flow motion (this is per charge) Fool me once doesn't work as intended 10% reduction only works on spin attack, 6.72% is applied to choke hold and 8.4% applied to saber throw. These are the cooldowns with fool me once: Saber throw - 7.85secs Choke hold - 17.4secs Spin attack - 4.5secs or 5secs with flow motion (per charge) As you can see the card has very little impact on these ability cooldowns.

I still think it's worth it even if it's not 10% all around the board. Being able to complete an action faster than normal means I can constantly be moving around the map. Also keep in mind these number are for only 1 ability use. You are cycling through these abilities all throughout the map and the time save really adds up and will save you.

As someone that mains Maul and Yoda I didn't knew of that 10% reduction thing but nice to know and yeah most Yodas really are just straight which makes me actually sad cause I enjoy him but never saw a Yoda that is decent🥺

@@CrispeHD is your Yoda really that low? No way I have him on 2 accs maxed out and I think I'm good with him the way I like but he has weaknesses which you can't really avoid

@@AMaxBB-9EGuy Yea I think Yoda is one of if not the worst saber hero. Although it’s difficult to track and hit him, his saber swings take too much time and even if you parry someone, you can still have a negative trade and they can immediately hit you to twice right back.

@@CrispeHD yeah sometimes Yodas harder to hit in many situations like I noticed when I faced your Vader a few days ago on Naboo I could avlid hits other characters would get but some characters are like actually very good in connecting like Boba or Kylo since they can easier hit him from above due to his smaller size. BB-9E is annoying af as Yoda there you can really notice that his swings are too slow

I picked up the game about a week ago and by far my best character is maul, i played coop for a week to learn the basics, and how to parry, but my main struggle is always keeping myself alive

I've only ever played co-op. I believe if someone knows how to use them he's probably one of the best. I'll point out that there's actually no limit to how many people you can pick up with the choke

I adore Maul and I love to play him the most in supremacy (yeah he can be wrecked easily if you not watch out and get gangbang by jettroopers hero combo, but if you know how to run him and you are always on the move, use the middle ability as last resort, he is the real phanthom menace, I really cannot run Vader in trooper modes he is slow, because of Maul speed I am bad with him(does it makes sense) in general FLOW MOTION and LIGHTSABER DEFENSE is a MUST I think there are no bad cards if you can survive with the hero and get to the top 5 when your team wins, I was never thinking about Fool Me Once as an option the one second or even less differece was always to me just waste of space, I just rather one shot heavys with saber throw…btw..nice playstyle !!! this is how you move with him !!!

What do you think of the savage card? If you hit 4 enemies by spinning, your stats fill up 75% faster. But I don't understand the use of that card. Does it refresh when I hit 4 enemies in a single spin or hit 2 people 4 times in 2 consecutive spins?

Personally “Savage” could’ve been the best Maul card if it wasn’t 4 people you needed to hit in a short duration. I forgot exactly the number but you essentially have to hit 4 people within the span of 4 seconds in order for the 75% reduction to begin. The card is too niche as you have to be in a clump of enemies, hit them with Mauls horrible dash hitbox AND not get immediately mowed down.

What do you think of the ranged throw card? I never see it used but it increases the saber throw range by a lot (from 20 to 30 meters).

When I first picked up Maul I ran lightsaber defense, fool me once and ranged throw. After many attempts of getting rolled and blasted I realized ranged throw is too much of a gamble. Once you throw your saber, you cannot block which means any blaster or ability can hit you. Ranged throw lets you control more space but it leaves you exposed for a longer duration. Ontop of that you cannot use your spin dash to evade or get damage in UNTIL your saber comes back to you. Atm the only stat card setup I run is “Lightsaber defense, fool me once and flow motion

Do you think it’d be a bad idea to use 'there is no escape' for Vader too since it's basically the same card but for Vader's throw? I see that card used quite a lot though.
